We are pleased to announce that we have entered in to partnership agreements with two organisations in the Republic of Ireland. Mentality and are both based in Dublin and will be helping to develop the initiative there.

One of our new Charter signatories is Kaufman Law, P.C based in Atlanta, Georgia and they have become the first signatory from the USA.

Charter signatories continue to increase

Nearly 90 employers have signed the Charter for Employers who are Positive About Mental Health so far this year, compared to 53 in the same period last year. Mental Health Awareness Week

Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week and this year the focus is on stress. Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation there are plenty of resources available.

Ways to work with Workways

Workways (which is part of Devon Partnership NHS Trust and runs MINDFUL EMPLOYER) is expanding its support service for people who are not employed across the whole of Devon. We have vacancies for Band 5 Employment Specialists and Band 4 Employment Coaches based in either Torbay, South, North or West Devon. The roles will involve assisting Workways’ clients to find paid employment – using the evidenced based Individual Placement & Support (IPS) approach.  Experience of supporting employers and helping people with a health condition (preferably mental health-related) to find employment are essential to the role. We also have a vacancy for Band 3 Business Administration Support at Workways in Exminster, near Exeter.

New Affiliate Trainers

During the last few months we have developed a network of Affiliate Trainers who have helped us increase our capacity to meet the ever growing demand for mental health awareness workshops. These Affiliates have been trained by ourselves to deliver some of our workshops and are based in different parts of the UK. To find out more about the workshops we can deliver to managers and other staff on your premises and also our ‘open workshops’ please visit our website or contact
